Sky Force Box Office Day 3: Akshay Kumar’s Action Thriller Flies High, Earns ₹61.75 Cr in Opening Weekend {update}

The overseas market has been kinder to the film as well. In its first two days, it earned $600K (around ₹5 crore). While these numbers aren’t massive compared to its domestic earnings, they still add to the film’s growing success.

The Numbers Speak for Themselves

Trade analysts are calling Sky Force one of Akshay Kumar’s most promising releases in recent years. The action-packed drama, set against the backdrop of the Indian Air Force, seems to have struck a chord with audiences, especially in India. The movie’s makers have even hinted that the final weekend numbers might inch closer to ₹70 crore, considering the exact ticket sales data.

What’s really grabbing attention is the film’s weekend growth. Many films start strong and taper off by Sunday, but Sky Force has managed to maintain its upward climb. If this trend holds through Monday and the weekdays, the movie might enjoy a long and successful run in theaters.

Audience Reaction

Early reviews from viewers have been positive, with fans praising Akshay Kumar’s performance and the high-octane aerial sequences. Veer Pahariya, who makes his debut as an IAF officer, has also been receiving praise for his screen presence and acting skills. Social media buzz suggests that the patriotic theme and edge-of-the-seat action have resonated well with the audience.

“I loved how the film captured the emotions of the soldiers. Akshay sir’s performance was top-notch, and the action scenes were breathtaking,” shared one viewer on Twitter.

Monday Test: What Lies Ahead

While the first weekend has been a win for Sky Force, the real test will be how it performs on Monday and through the weekdays. If the movie manages to pull consistent numbers, it could become one of the top-grossing films of the year.

Akshay Kumar has a track record of delivering hits with patriotic themes, and Sky Force seems no different. With its strong weekend showing, the movie has laid a solid foundation for what could be a successful box office journey.

Final Thoughts

Sky Force has proved that a good story combined with high-energy action can work wonders at the box office. Its performance this weekend shows how word-of-mouth can make or break a film. If you haven’t caught it yet, this might be the perfect time to experience the thrill of Sky Force on the big screen.
