Keerthy Suresh Talks About Life After Marriage with Antony Thattil
Actor Keerthy Suresh recently shared her thoughts on life after marrying Antony Thattil in December 2024. The couple tied the knot on December 11, and though it has only been a month since their wedding, Keerthy says things have felt both familiar and different at the same time.
When asked about how life has changed since their wedding, Keerthy explained, “Honestly, not much has changed. Things are pretty much the same. But there has been a lot more attention. I’m used to it, but Antony isn’t used to this much attention. That’s something new for him. Even for me, it’s still a lot more attention than a normal day.”
Keerthy, who is no stranger to public attention, admitted that adjusting to the spotlight after marriage is something her husband is still getting used to. While the couple’s routine hasn’t shifted much, the extra buzz has added a different layer to their lives. It’s clear that for Antony, life as the husband of a famous actor is a whole new experience.
One of the biggest changes Keerthy has noticed is the blending of their families. The actor emphasized that marriage is about uniting families, not just the couple. “What feels really different is the joining of our families. We’ve been together for a long time, so not much has changed between us. But celebrating our union with both families, seeing them get to know each other, and creating those memories together is something really special.”
Keerthy and Antony recently celebrated their first Pongal festival as a married couple. It made the occasion even more meaningful for the actress. “This was my first Pongal after marriage, and it felt extra special. When it’s your first festival after marriage, it’s called ‘Thala,’ so it was Thala Pongal for me this year. We couldn’t be happier,” Keerthy said with excitement.
The couple also celebrated their first Christmas together after the wedding. Keerthy spent the holiday with Antony’s family, and now for Pongal, they traveled to her family’s home in Trivandrum. She said, “It was such a wonderful family time. My first Christmas after marriage was with Antony’s family, and for Pongal, we were in Trivandrum with my side. It’s all about family, and we’re creating memories that will last forever.”
Keerthy’s reflection on her marriage shows how, while fame comes with its challenges, the joy of sharing life’s milestones with loved ones is something she cherishes deeply. She also noted that the fun and warmth of family gatherings during festivals are something she’ll always hold dear.
This first Pongal celebration, in particular, marks a special moment in their lives, filled with love and excitement. Both Keerthy and Antony are looking forward to many more such celebrations as they continue to build their life together.
Keerthy’s openness about the joys and adjustments of married life provides a fresh and down-to-earth perspective on life after marriage. As she steps into this new chapter, she’s excited about the future while also appreciating the little moments that make it all so special.
