Udhayanidhi Stalin, born into Tamil Nadu’s prominent political family, is the son of Chief Minister M. K. Stalin and grandson of former CM M. Karunanidhi. A successful actor and producer, he made his debut in 2012 with Oru Kal Oru Kannadi and founded Red Giant Movies. Actively involved in politics, he joined DMK and became an MLA in 2019. Married to filmmaker Kiruthiga, Udhayanidhi keeps his personal life private while contributing to both cinema and politics.

Udhaynidhi Stalin has gained his first meeting election in 2021 with a margin of 68,880 votes. His constituency was Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni/Triplicane.
