Krafton is set to roll out the BGMI 3.8 update on May 15, 2025, starting at 7:00 AM IST. However, the release will happen in phases, meaning some players may get access earlier or later depending on their device or region.

What’s New in BGMI 3.8?

The highlight of the update is the Steampunk Frontier Theme Mode, inspired by the popular anime Attack on Titan. Two new hot drop zones have been added to the Erangel map—near Shooting Range and Mylta—offering exclusive loot and high-intensity combat.

Key gameplay features include:

• Giant Potion
  Become a Titan-like giant temporarily. Teammates can ride on your shoulders, offering tactical fun—but the effect wears off quickly!
• Mechanical Hook
  Think Spider-Man meets PUBG. Swing across areas, escape fire, or attack from new angles with this hook gadget.
• Loot Trains
  Moving trains filled with weapons and special items now roam the map, creating new dynamic opportunities for ambushes and strategy.
