Vivo has officially launched its latest smartphone, the Vivo V60, in India. The phone was unveiled on August 12, 2025 through an online launch event. The company is aiming to attract users who want strong performance, advanced photography, and long battery life in a single device.
The Vivo V60 will be available for sale starting August 19. Customers can buy it from Vivo’s official website, Amazon, Flipkart, and offline stores across the country.
Price and Variants
Vivo has introduced four storage variants for the V60:
- 8GB + 128GB – ₹36,999
- 8GB + 256GB – ₹38,999
- 12GB + 256GB – ₹40,999
- 16GB + 512GB – ₹45,999
These options allow buyers to choose the right model according to their budget and storage needs.
Design and Display
The Vivo V60 features a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display. The screen offers 1.5K resolution (2392×1080) and a 120Hz refresh rate. With up to 5,000 nits peak brightness, it promises clear visibility even in strong sunlight.
Vivo has also focused on durability. The phone has IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings. The display is protected by Diamond Shield Glass, which is designed to reduce damage from drops and scratches.
Performance and Software
The Vivo V60 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. It comes with up to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB UFS 2.2 storage.
It runs on Funtouch OS 15, which is based on Android 15. Vivo has promised four years of OS updates and six years of security updates, making it a long-term option for users.
Camera Features
One of the main highlights of the Vivo V60 is its ZEISS-branded triple rear camera setup. It includes:
- 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS
- 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens with up to 3x optical zoom and 10x hybrid zoom
- 8MP ultrawide lens
For selfies, the phone offers a 50MP ZEISS front camera with a 92° ultra-wide field of view. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.
Vivo has also added advanced modes like ZEISS Multifocal Portrait, 10x Telephoto Stage Portrait, and Wedding vLog mode.
Battery and Charging
The V60 is equipped with a massive 6,500mAh battery. It supports 90W FlashCharge fast charging technology. Vivo claims this will allow quick top-ups, making it suitable for heavy users and travelers.
AI and Smart Features
The smartphone comes with Google Gemini AI built-in. This allows voice, text, and visual interaction in real time. Funtouch OS 15 adds several AI-based tools such as:
- AI Four Season Portrait
- Magic Move
- Reflection Removal
- Image Expander
- Smart Call Assistant with live transcription, translation, and call summaries
- AI Spam Protection
These tools aim to improve photography, productivity, and security for users.
